First of all a very warm welcome to my website and giving me this opportunity to share with you some of my background and journey.

I actually started my working life as a secretary, and it culminated in me fulfilling my ambition to be a Company Secretary of a PLC by qualifying as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators in 1994. However, I became a self-imposed workaholic. Following corporate restructuring my job became redundant in 2002, and hence I decided to step back and reassess my own life. I am now pursuing my own new pathway, part of which is to facilitate self discovery courses to motivate and inspire others to improve and create the life they want, and to unlock their limitless potential through positive change — to “PurSUE a New You”

I first became interested in alternative/complementary therapies and self-development work in the early 1990’s. This was primarily for myself. In 1994 I was introduced to Reiki and in 1996 the work of Louise Hay by reading her book, “You Can Heal Your Life”. In 2003 following my own huge personal life change, I decided to undertake the teachers’ training course in Louise Hay’s work. It was an amazing week, and on the last full day of the course I fell and broke my ankle! This was one of life’s lessons for me. It gave me the opportunity to put into practice what I had learned and it helped me to cope with my situation. As the initial weeks passed I became committed to take the advanced teachers’ course and had an inner knowing that this would be possible despite the then circumstances of being housebound and in plaster….11 weeks after the accident it transpired! I now share this work for the benefit of others.

I am a professional, caring person of the highest integrity, and I value honesty and confidentiality.  In 2005 I gained the ABC Level 2 Certificate in Counselling Skills.  I also have certification as a Breathwork and Reiki Practitioner, and I enjoy the exploration of alternative therapies, Tai Chi and life.
